Notes: Books & Bullets* is tabletop adventure game of weird horror, action, and investigation. Based on John Harper's *Lasers & Feelings*, and to a lesser extent Greg Stolze's Unknown Armies, B&B aims for simplicity without compromising game play and discards the sanity death spiral in favor of a more dynamic, reaction system that creates in-the-moment consequences rather than long term character trauma. The game is expressed in thee pages (US Letter). The contents of each page are as follows: (1) Players: introduction, story hook, character sheet, character generation rules, dice mechanics, and rules for insight, mythos checks, and helping/hindering. (2) Mythos Masters: the agenda, insanity & death, scaling mythos checks, running adventures, and an introductory mystery (3) Resources: includes: tech by era, word lists, name lists, equipment list, sources of inspiration
